The toughest challenge we have faced when planning this event has been getting the word out to low income families. We only have a few brothers in our chapter and even though we put tons of hours into this philanthropy, it is not enough. A great way to help is by spreading the word and giving applications to families in need. You can find all the necessary forms for families to apply in our downloads section.
We would like to extend an invitation to participate in our Annual Thanksgiving Outreach Program. By contributing, you will join us in spreading a little bit of joy this Thanksgiving Holiday. Sponsoring a family, or donating, is a quick and easy process. Remember that Lambda Theta Phi, Latin Fraternity Inc. is organized under the Nonprofit Corporation law for charitable purposes. We are exempt from Federal Income Tax as a non profit 501 (c) (3) public charity designation. All donations to the Outreach are Tax Deductible.We can provide receipts for any donations upon request. Every year, our goal is to increase the number of families we feed. Therefore, the number of needed drivers must also increase. In one night, we have volunteers visit 6-8 houses to deliver meals. We hope that by creating this website we can improve and attempt to perfect the planning and execution of this year’s event. Please register with us if you would like to deliver meals. We truly appreciate all the support we receive. In order to show our appreciation and also celebrate the joy of Thanksgiving, we will be putting together a dinner at a brother’s house. Further details will be sent to everyone who participates.
